Mission Statement

The Global Outreach (GO) Team exists to provide leadership and vision for the SFC body toward fulfilling God’s mission in the world by effectively administrating the variety of mission ministry teams of Sutherlin Family Church.

 Encourage and support the development of a strong Adopt-A-People Group Team

 Create and sustain a passion within the SFC body to pray for the completion of the task of reaching un-reached people groups

 Provide leadership and vision to the SFC body for SFC’s global outreach ministries

 Be responsible for providing a comprehensive mission education program for our entire body

 Prepare an annual missions budget and oversee the allocation of the funds throughout the year

 Recommend additions to or deletions from the support list, which includes long-term missionaries, mission projects, and mission organizations

 Review the missions program of the church and make changes as necessary

 Develop and maintain a church-wide missions policy

 Encourage and support short-term and other global outreach opportunities

 Encourage, recruit, select and assist in the equipping of SFC members to become career missionaries

 Be responsible for helping each SFC member fulfill his or her role in fulfilling the Great Commission
